I am glad that you liked my last hack on making free STD-ISD calls. If you liked that hack I am sure you will like this one too. Last time, as we saw, you were able to dial FREE-411 number in USA from skype as it was a toll free number. How about making calls to any number in USA and many other countries? If you are interested read on.These days VOIP providers are cutting their prices for calls from USA and similarly from other countries to India. However, there are many VOIP providers who let you make free calls within USA. Hold on! does that mean you can make free calls to USA using a pc with internet over VOIP? The answer is yes!! There are a bunch of VOIP providers that give you free calls to USA. The first one in my list and the one we are going to talk about is Mediaringtalk: http://www.mediaringtalk.com
You need to register with them once and you can start making free calls to USA. However, you can chat for only 10 minutes per call. No one stops you from calling again though. Fair enough? Keep in mind that if you have balance in your mediaringtalk account and you talk more than 10 minutes, let us say 12 minutes you will be charged for those 2 minutes. However, there charges are fair and cheap. Mediaringtalk is a great VOIP provider even if you want to make calls to India. It costs you just 1.7 cents which is decent, but if I remember correctly it used to be 1.4 cents earlier. Our readers in India can use some math to find out that if you use mediaringtalk for STD calls it will cost you 85 paisa per minute. Still cheaper than many cell phone providers.
Other countries which are included in their free call offer are: Australia, China, Singapore, UK, Canada, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
